Fanatics Markets review

Fanatics Markets is the third sportsbook brand to launch a prediction market, and it did it the FanDuel way: become a registered futures broker and list someone else's contracts, in this case on Crypto.com Derivatives North America. It's sports-first with politics, crypto, culture and economy markets, charges up to 2¢ a contract, requires users to be 21, and as of September 2026 operates in 22 states, mostly ones without legal online sportsbooks. The hook is FanCash on every trade.

How it's built

The operator is Morton St. Trading Investments LLC, doing business as Fanatics Markets, a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant and NFA member. Contracts are offered through Crypto.com Derivatives North America, the same exchange behind Crypto.com's own prediction product and OG.com. So Fanatics is the front end and the customer relationship; Crypto.com's exchange is the order book and the rules.

Markets

  • Sports: major US leagues plus soccer, tennis, motorsports, golf, fighting and esports; game winners, playoff and tournament outcomes, conference and season championships.
  • Non-sports: politics, crypto, culture, economy.
  • Combos: multi-outcome positions priced by request for quote.
  • Early exit: positions can be sold before settlement, execution not guaranteed on thin markets.

Fees

Trading fees run from $0.00034 to $0.02 per contract, peaking at 50¢ and shrinking toward the extremes, rounded up to the cent per order. That's the same shape as Kalshi's curve with a slightly higher peak. ACH is free; debit card, Apple Pay, PayPal and Venmo deposits cost up to 2%; wires need $1,000 to deposit and $10,000 to withdraw. Withdrawals to supported methods are free.

Availability and age

21+, US citizen or legal resident with a US address, physically in a permitted state. Twenty-two states as of September 2026: Alabama, Alaska, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Utah, plus several US territories. The pattern is clear: states where Fanatics Sportsbook can't operate.

FanCash and promotions

Every trade earns FanCash whether it wins or loses, plus Fanatics ONE tier points. The autumn 2026 Trade Match offers up to $150 FanCash: register and verify between September 28 and October 25, then make one qualifying cash trade a day (contracts at 90¢ or below) during a personal 14-day window. FanCash lands within 72 hours of settlement and expires seven days later, and it's spendable on Fanatics products, not withdrawable.

Who it's for

Fanatics customers aged 21+ in a listed state who like the merchandise angle. For the same states, Kalshi and Novig offer lower effective costs and no age ceiling issue; for transparent fees, Kalshi.
